I haven't used this yet, but I will be using this next week. I can't wait to use this to help my students become stronger writers.
This has been great for our sentence work in class. The students have enjoyed the lessons and projects we have done so far. It has really helped them work on expanding their sentence writing. Thank you!

I am a believer in a hands-on approach to teaching. Students learn when they are deeply engaged in the learning process. But, what does it mean to be hands-on in your literacy block? From my experience with reading and language arts instruction, my students learn best when they are reading, talking about what they are reading, conversing with their friends, playing games, moving, and involved in deep discussion. Students learn so much from each other and I believe that a literacy classroom should be full of conversations.
