HOW TO USE THIS SENTENCE WRITING CENTER
BUILDING SENTENCES:
I always introduced this sentence building center at the beginning of the school year. We built sentences together and practiced reading with one-to-one correspondence. After a few weeks, my kindergarten students became PROS! The sentence center was ready to use as a center rotation.
EMERGENT READERS:
These simple sentence readers are great as a morning work activity. Students can then add them into their book back to read with a partner and take them Home for nightly reading.
SENTENCE WRITING PRACTICE WORKSHEETS:
Students quickly become familiar with these handwriting and sentence practice worksheets. We use them during morning work.
