Building Self-Esteem Through Compliments

Compliments are important in the development of student’s emotional intelligence and a basic social skill that is often not directly taught. Now you have a wonderful resource to give you the tools you need to teach students what compliments are, why compliments should be given and how to give them. Compliment cards can be used throughout the school day/week/month/year! Create a “Compliment Committee” and assign various students compliments to “catch” their fellow peers doing or give out compliments to students you catch being kind!
