Description

This resource is for K-2 teachers who want to build a classroom community through picture books. The picture book feature in this product is "Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse" by Kevin Henkes.

The purpose of reading this story is to set a foundation for taking responsibility. This resource focuses on building community by showing respect, taking responsibility for our actions, and having the courage to admit when you are wrong.

This product is a digital lesson and a Prezi presentation that motions, zooms, and enhances the lesson delivery. It includes detailed lesson plans to introduce the story, dig deep into Lilly's actions, and apply the author's message in class.
