Description

This resource is for K-2 teachers who want to build a classroom community through picture books. The picture book feature in this product is "Chrysanthemum" by Kevin Henkes. 

The purpose of reading this story is to set a foundation of peer to peer relationships, what is okay and not okay. This resource focuses on building community through the power of words, being kind, and respectful. 

This product is a digital lesson and a Prezi presentation that motions, zooms, and enhances the lesson delivery. It includes two digital anchor charts to sustain the power of words and kindness throughout the school year and two bookmarks you can choose from after completing the lesson.
