What educators are saying
I used this as an end of unit assessment, and it was great for my ELL and SPED students. It made the assessment of noticing the different organelles easier for all students.
I USED THIS WITH ALL MY CLASSES THEY LOVED IT AND IT KEPT THEM BUSY I WILL BE USING IT THIS YEAR ALSO
Description
Every organelle you need to build an Animal Cell or Plant Cell. Full color, hand-drawn organelles that can be cut out, printed, laminated, and used in so many ways! Black and white, line-drawing (coloring book style) is also included!
Print the color version on card stock and laminate as a great review puzzle or learning-station activity.
Glue magnets on the backs of the pieces for interactive board work
Print the black and white version for students to assemble their own cell. As an added challenge, assign students specific eukaryotic cells to build: muscle cell, plant root cell, plant leaf cell, liver cell, white blood cell, etc.
Each type of cell will require more of certain organelles (muscles have a lot of mitochondria, and a liver cell would need a lot of smooth endoplasmic reticulum.
So many possibilities!
Contents:
• Nucleus with nucleolus (color version shows chromatin)
• Centrosome
• Rough ER with ribosomes
• Smooth ER
• Golgi Body
• Vesicles and/or lysosomes
• Mitochondria with ribosomes
• Chloroplasts with ribosomes
