Thank you for showing interest in this project! I love project that make connections with really world concepts. This is also a webquest that requires students to discover as they complete their tasks. This project requires students to make decisions that require the use of math skills. The students with create a budget, explore taxes, find the percent of a number, add and subtract to balance a checking account, experience unplanned events, and plan a menu for the month. I have included an editable version and pdf version for your use. Instead of a website devoted to the links the students have to visit to the complete each task (and to make it customize-able), I used Google Slides instead to direct the students on this adventure. I ask that you just copy the original into your own drive before editing and sharing with your students. Always check the links to make sure that they are still live links. A link to an editable Google Slides Presentation is provided.
