Description
BROADWAY THROUGH THE AGES is an 11-week course that takes students through the history of Broadway beginning with today's current musicals all the way back to the Golden Age of Broadway. Courses can be used as an entire unit or can easily be used for a single class of teacher's choice. All video links and discussion topics are included in the PDF. Great for a substitute!
Two lessons are needed to explore in depth this essential era of the American Musical. Students will explore the foundation of the Broadway Musical as we know it today, along with all the people and shows that created this iconic artform.
