Description

This 72 slide powerpoint lecture goes through a close reading of the following poems, which are also available separately through my store using the links below. I've also included a PDF of focus Common Core standards, higher level thinking questions, and annotated teacher notes.
(Buying the entire unit is the best value!)
John Keats: "Ode on a Grecian Urn"
Percy Bysshe Shelley: "Ode to the West Wind" and "Ozymandias"
Lord Byron: "She Walks in Beauty"
Wordsworth: “The World Is Too Much With Us”

I use this unit as part of 12th grade British literature with an anthology, but it is appropriate to any high school level and the poems are readily available online.
