What educators are saying

This was absolutely helpful for my students who need to have a little break during the day and in the afternoon. Did not take long to have this preped and ready
This was an awesome add-on to an additional resource I just purchased. I love the capacity to individualize the student's physical characteristics and the ability to fade the program with progress.

Why Use the Break Card Visuals?

  • These Break Card visuals include a variety of break cards that students can use to request a break when feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or dysregulated.
  • Break Cards are an essential tool for helping students who need to take a break during work time.
  • Sometimes our students need to take a break and it is important for them to have the breaks that they need.
  • To teach students to self-advocate for the breaks that they need. However, we also want to teach them that there is a limit to how many breaks that they are able to take so that they are able to have time for work too. These break cards do just that.
  • They are great visuals for teaching our students to appropriately request a break and for how to manage the number of breaks they are taking.
