Description

This lesson examines the differences between major brain scans and imaging used in Psychology or medical field-related courses such as Anatomy. Students will learn the major differences, uses, and advantages of each scan. This lesson is designed to keep students engaged and can be completed via distant learning with either a PBS website or a 8 minute video I created that goes along with the PPT included. Teachers may also choose to teach the lesson in class using the PowerPoint (flexible options available). Students follow along with an interactive Google Doc and complete a short formative assessment at the end (Google Form).

Overall, this package includes the following

-Student Analysis Sheet - Google Doc Format (printable, editable, shareable)

-Engaging PPT - Approximately 25 slides with lots of examples

-Website and Video/Webcast of the PPT lesson above

-Short Assessment - 4 question Google Form to check if students got the learning objectives

Important note - this lesson is distant learning compatible or can be easily fit-into any class with the provided PowerPoint. All docs/files are editable and shareable.
