HOW TO USE:
- This game is essentially "This or That"...but adapted to include movement!
- Students are shown two options and will cast their 'vote' by sitting or standing. That's right; we're getting them out of their seats; no boring activities over here!
- Use these slides as "getting to know you," icebreaker questions, as brain breaks, a morning meeting activity, or even an indoor recess activity.
- They're even perfect slides for those times when you need to occupy students in between those five-minute pockets of time.
- You can add your own options, in addition to those provided for you, by using the blank template so that you can adapt them to fit your needs.
- All slides aren't meant to be used simultaneously but a few at a time. However, you can absolutely do them all at once.
- The clipart illustrations are perfect for English learners still relying on images.
- Overall, this is a FUN game that can be used in the school building or virtually.
- Students LOVE talking about the options provided; they make incredible connections as they discuss their opinions!
- These are great "getting to know you" AND icebreaker questions. You can even implement them during your morning meeting.
- I personally use them to build community within the first week of school. Students enjoy seeing what others chose.
- You can add your own options in addition to those provided for you.
- I would suggest doing maybe 5 slides per day.
- The images are an added bonus! Perfect for those English Learners who are still relying on images.
