These Doodle Notes™ and corresponding 32-Slide PowerPoint are the perfect way to explore the anatomy of the human brain with your Anatomy & Physiology students.

This product includes 3 sets of Doodle Notes™:

  • Anatomy of the Brain: cerebrum, cerebellum, brain stem, and diencephalon - also includes details on the corpus callosum, sulci, gyri, cerebral hemispheres, thalamus, hypothalamus, pituitary gland, midbrain, pons, and medulla oblongata
  • Anatomy of the Cerebral Cortex: frontal lobe, parietal lobe, temporal lobe, occipital lobe, sensory cortex, motor cortex, Broca's area, Wernicke's area, amygdala, hippocampus

I personally use these notes to span 3 days in sync with my "Use Your Brain" Stations lesson. Here's how I time out my lessons on the anatomy and physiology of the brain:

Day 1: Brain Anatomy & Physiology

  • Brain Anatomy Doodle Notes™ - “The Brain” (covers cerebrum, cerebellum, brain stem, and diencephalon)
  • “Use Your Brain” Activity pages 1 → 4

Day 2: Brain Anatomy & Physiology

  • Brain Anatomy Doodle Notes™ - “Anatomy of the Cerebral Cortex”
  • “Use Your Brain” Activity Stations (will only partially complete)

Day 3: Brain Anatomy & Physiology

  • Brain Anatomy Doodle Notes™ - “Brain Stem Anatomy” & “Diencephalon Anatomy”
  • “Use Your Brain” Activity Stations - finish!

All resources are available in both print and digital forms.

Included within this resource, you will receive the following print resources:

  • 5+ non-editable PDF versions of the each set of Doodle Notes™ (black & white blank, colored blank, black & white fill-in-the-blank, colored fill-in-the-blank, colored key) - 15 pages total
