Description

This set of Boom Cards gives your elementary students social skills practice identifying problems in conversations. They are no print digital task cards that are interactive. Your students will love them! In this set, you will receive a deck of 48 cards. The first cards explain the rules of conversation. Then, there are problem communication scenarios where students must identify the problem in real photographs from two choices. The next slide requires the student to "fix the problem" and type (or teacher types if student cannot) a better way to say it in a text box within a speech bubble. Last, there is a four-slide review with our llama friends!

There is a home page and arrows to make navigation easier and to allow you to pause and discuss a slide with ease.

These common conversation problems are covered in the boom cards:

  • not being polite or respectful,
  • not responding to questions and comments,
  • interrupting,
  • being off topic,
  • not pausing to allow a listener to respond.

This product is geared for K-4. If your students can't type, they can say the answers to the open-ended questions.

Students have the option of clicking on the microphone to hear audio directions and questions.

BOOM learning cards are a web-based, interactive platform that is self-checking with sound!

Boom cards can be assigned in your google classroom. Click here for a tutorial.
