Art project and presentation of my Block Printing lesson. I teach this lesson to my 5th graders and they enjoy learning about the history of block printing and the life and artwork of Katsushika Hokusai. Every student loves designing, carving and printing their own block. It is, to quote the kids, SO SATISFYING! I would recommend this exciting art project for grades 5th and up.
