Description

You’ll love this DIGITAL resource for beginning and ending blends. It can be used with Seesaw and Google Slides! The best part is that there’s NO printing, NO cutting, and NO laminating. Great for online learning!

Your learners don’t have to have their own stash of color-coded magnetic letters {vowel red, consonants blue} or a magnetic cookie sheet to spell words with beginning and ending blends. That’s what you can use this resource for!

TWO Activities are Included:

1. Beginning Blends

Level 1: Single Letter vs. Beginning Blends {such as bird vs. bloom}
Level 2: Similar Beginning Blends {broom vs. bloom}
Level 3: Beginning Blends vs. Consonant Clusters {spoon vs. spray}

2. Ending Blends

Level 1: Single Letter vs. Ending Blends {such as map vs. lamp}
Level 2: Similar Ending Blends {belt vs. hold}

These activities are great for phonemic awareness because they get learners to single out and listen for the individual phonemes in words.

UPDATED!

You can now use this Digital Resource with BOTH Seesaw & Google Drive!

Seesaw – This resource has been broken down into NINE separate activities for blends due to the fact that Seesaw limits the number of pages for a PDF. Follow the directions in my Seesaw tutorial to assign the activities.

Google Slides / Google Drive – You DO need a Google account and access to the internet. iPad users will need to download the free app for Google Slides.

Don’t have Google Classroom? No worries! You don’t have to have it to use this resource. Directions on how to use it on Google Slides, Microsoft OneDrive, and the iPad are included in the download.

Visit my blog post if  you’d like to try Google Classroom.

Click on the preview to see some of the slides in this resource.

Please note that this is NOT AN APP like my other apps. It does not have sound or a way to allow learners to automatically see if their answer is correct.

I'd LOVE to connect with you!
