Description
In February, we celebrate Black History Month. I've made some classroom posters/printables that can be placed in the classroom or given to students as handouts.
I've chosen to focus on six influential African Americans: Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Rosa Parks, Sojourner Truth, George Washington Carver, Madam C.J. Walker and Barack Obama.
All information is from national geographic for kids or britannica kids, while quotes are from good reads or brainy quote.
I have created an easel activity assessment to go along with the handouts. It is ten questions long.
