Hello and welcome to Celebrating Black History Month! This resource comes with 20 unique trailblazing African Americans to celebrate for the month of February. This resource is designed to be used in person OR digitally.
1. You can use this resource during morning class meeting to fit in relevant and diverse content. With Distance Learning, I share screen during our Zoom class meetings, and we discuss the slides/view the videos together
2. This is a completely digital or in person way to celebrate Black History Month with your classroom. This is literally everything you need to just hit present and GO!
3. You have full access to these Google slides, please change it up, remove or add slides for what works with your classroom. All/any of these slides can be deleted or duplicated.
4. There is a biography video, read aloud and/or another important video for every person.
Teaching about Black History is not just for the Month of February, please use this resource to commemorate and celebrate historic leaders in the black community. We focus and learn about the narratives of many famous African Americans in history because the impact they have made on this country. Honoring Black History teaches all people of every race about the diverse story of this nation.
