Black History Month ~ Comprehension Passages

These comprehension passages, African American Heroes, were created for your young learners, yearning to learn about Black History! Included are 16 informational text passages about different African Americans that are famous for many reasons. Some are civil rights activists; some are inventors.

The passage is approximately 4-6 sentences, just enough for young learners to tackle. Each passage includes three questions, that are right-there questions (the answers can be found right there in the text). These are perfect to ready your young learners for state tests and other formal tests they must find answers in passages.
