Black History Month Bulletin Board - Interactive - SEL- African American Leaders

Welcome to our Black History Month Bulletin Board Kit! It's a special way to learn about amazing Black leaders and feel good about ourselves too. Here's how it works:

On our bulletin board, you'll find 35 different Black heroes like Martin Luther King Jr. and Rosa Parks. Each one has a special trait, like bravery or kindness. For example:

• Martin Luther King Jr. was brave.
• Rosa Parks showed courage.

• I AM a hero for equality like Martin Luther King Jr.
• I AM a sports star like Muhammad Ali.
• I AM a great writer like Ralph Ellison.

We also have cool name tags! You can cut them out and glue them up. Then, you'll discover a short story about each hero and what makes them special. It's like finding a little surprise!
As you look at the board and read the stories, you'll feel good about yourself too. You might think, "I can be brave like Martin Luther King Jr.," or "I can be kind like Rosa Parks."
So, let's celebrate Black History Month together and learn how to be our best selves! You can start by cutting out these names and learning about these amazing people.
