Black History - Digital Library (5 virtual book rooms) 130 books!

This digital library is the perfect spot to begin your much-needed conversations about Black History Month. This is a resource you can use not only in February but during every month, because representation matters! In this Google slide, you will find that the first slide has 5 book bins to choose from. The book bin links to another slide, which acts as a book room. There is a button in each book room that will send kids back to the main bookshelf. EACH OF THE BOOKS LINKS TO A FREE DIGITAL COPY OR READ ALOUD OF THE BOOK! This is a wonderful resource that my kids have thoroughly enjoyed and I hope your students enjoy it just as much.

There are two book rooms reserved for Black History, one room with books written by Jacqueline Woodson, one room with a BLM theme, and a final room with Diverse Reads. What you'll want to do is Publish a Copy of the slide and post it wherever your kids access digital assignments from you. I have a website, but this could be put in any online platform, such as Google Classroom.
