Birds on a Wire - Sentence Builders for SMARTboard

Thank you for purchasing "Birds on a Wire Sentence Builders" for the Smartboard. This is a great activity to use for Whole Group Instruction, during Word Work/Learning Stations/Daily 5, and also to use one on one with students for reinforcement and/or assessment. It is also a great tool for your ESL students!

Included in this pack you will receive:

25 Sentence Builders (3 each of 8 different colored birds and 1 blank slide for you or your students to design your own sentences).

5 Punctuation Practice Slides (each slide has a sentence that needs to have the correct punctuation added.

Students will demonstrate and synthesize their knowledge of: sentence structure, capitalization, punctuation, comprehension, sight words, color words, CVC words, blending, and vowel patterns along with practicing blends and digraphs. Students can also locate pronouns, nouns and adjectives as well as working on pluralization, past and present tense.

Students will also develop Critical Thinking Skills, Problem Solving Skills, Reading Skills, Decoding Skills, etc.

I use Sentence Builders during my Daily 5 rotations and the kids have a BLAST playing with them!
