In my classroom, I use this resource…
- I have students practice completing biography research on a particular person using the all about page first. This allows them to jot down information and keep it organized. They also will draw a portrait of their person, which they will also do in the flip book or brochure.
- Depending on the level of my students, I will then assign either the flip book or the brochure. The flip book is less time consuming for students. I personally, like to have them complete a page a day. It is a great practice tool for completing biography reports. You also, can fill it out together as a class. The brochure is a little more advanced. I use it for major grade projects and students complete it at their own pace.
Students will be completing a biography report on a person of their choice. NONE of the pages include a specific historian.
