Bill of Rights 60 Minute Lesson Plan

Need to teach the Bill of Rights in one 60 minute class? This is the lesson plan to do it! This zip file includes a 15 slide PowerPoint Presentation laying out the 10 amendments (complete with journal questions and closure question), fill-in-the-blank notes, and a Bill of Rights activity called "You Have the Right To...". The activity requires the students to draw a clever non-verbal representation (picture) and give a "layman's" explanation of the rights. This lesson plan is a fun, concise way to teach the Bill of Rights in a high school setting.
