Description

This resource includes 100 need-to-know Bible terms that will help your students comprehend important Bible vocabulary. This print-and-go resource includes 100 Bible Vocabulary cards (in both color and black and white) and a student dictionary booklet. Perfect for busy Christian school teachers, Sunday school leaders, or homeschooling parents.

I am passionate about getting elementary students in their Bibles and want them to be able to understand what they’re reading. A lot of times they need to be explicitly taught the important vocabulary words before they can comprehend the message.

The vocabulary cards are included four-to-a-page in BOTH color and black and white.

This download also includes an A-Z student dictionary for your students to use to track of the important terms (and any other words you’d like to add). There are spots for 10 words and definitions on each letter page.

These Bible vocabulary cards can be used in a wide variety of ways:

--Introduce the words as they come up in your Bible curriculum and/or discussions

--Display in your classroom on a Bible Word Wall

--Use as a Bible learning center and have your students copy the words and definitions into their student dictionary (or give them just the words and have them find the definition in a dictionary)

--Divide the words up and focus on a few each week

--Make it a game– cut apart the word and the definition and have the students match them up like a puzzle. (Optional: pass out the pieces to each student and have students find their match)

--Make it a game – have a student come up and draw a card. The student can give clues and/or an example (without saying any part of the word) and let the rest of the class guess what important word it is.
