Bessie Coleman - Influential People Series - for Smartboard

Bessie Coleman was the first African American female and first Native American female pilot in the United States.

This inspiring woman worked hard, was focused and determined, and never EVER took no for an answer. She broke boundaries at a time when it was not easy to do so.

This product is part of a new series for Smartboards called, "Influential People Series" and is perfect to be taught any time of the year, but especially during Black History Month and Women's History Month. It contains the following:

*3 slides to complete with Smartboard marker as a class (Mind Map to brainstorm who she was, who she became and how she changed the world; Fact/Opinion slide, Biography slide)

*1 Discussion Prompt slide to help guide classroom discussions

*1 Video Slide with links (kid safe/no ads) to 5 YouTube videos which teach more about Bessie Coleman, racism and how to work to overcome it.

This is a SMARTboard file and as such, you must have a Smartboard to use it. If you have a different interactive whiteboard please be sure to try out one of my many freebies in my store to see if you are able to convert the file to work with your type of interactive whiteboard. I only advertise this as being compatible with Smartboards, although I know it is possible to convert some files between different softwares; I do not know how to do this though:)
