Beowulf Annotation, Written Boast and Oral Presentation is suitable for all grades 6 -8, and 9 -12. This is a straightforward, five-day, three-part lesson that serves as an exceptional, and FUN Unit Ender to Beowulf. Please See our PREVIEW for this fantastic edition to your unit.
Students will:
• annotate Beowulf’s Boast in order to learn the main structural devices and features of Anglo-Saxon writing.
• annotate a Student Sample Boast In order to further reinforce and practice the features and devices required
• apply this new understanding towards writing a modern-day, personal boast,
• complete an oral presentation of their own boasts during “Mead Hall” day.
