Bell Ringers: The Odyssey, Epic Heroes, Poetry, and More

This power-point has a collection of over 30 original bell ringers that all relate to The Odyssey, epics, heroes, poetry, and figurative language. These are great warm-ups for students to work on that will get them geared to think about the standards that will be taught during the study of epics. It includes short response prompts, multiple choice questions based on passages provided, creative writing assignments, matching, figurative language identification, and more. Each bell ringer is numbered so that students don't get confused about which ones they have completed. These bell ringers are designed to take no more than a few minutes out of each class period to complete.
