What educators are saying

I used this as a morning meeting lesson and the students enjoyed sorting the options. Always a great lesson to go over no matter the time of school year.
My class was struggling with friendship and this was a perfect whole group activity. We sorted the picture cards and had a productive conversation about friendship.

Description

This is a fun sorting activity that works great to reinforce positive social skills with young learners. Review with students what a friend is and brainstorm ideas on what makes a good friend using posters I have provided. The students will then sort through 20 unique picture cards that show animals being kind and unkind. They need to decide if the action is something that would make a good friend or not.
