What educators are saying

My students loved doing this as an activity during our small group time. They were very engaged and it was very hands on.
I used this as a beginning/ending sound center early on in the school year. My kids loved it! The pictures are easy for them to figure out without me telling them. They could work easily on their own with this.

Description

This engaging Literacy Center can be used to help your students practice beginning and ending sounds.

Included are 8 different options. Students use magnetic letters to identify the first and last sound in each word. They use the included self-check cards to assess their own work. A black and white version is also included, on which your kids could use letter stamps to identify the beginning and ending sound.

This is a great tool that could also be used to formally assess sound identification in small groups.
