Reference Guide or Notes for beginning Spanish concepts.

Each topic includes a list of essential phrases, additional vocabulary, sample dialogues, simple explanations of skills, and tons of pictures that look great in color and black and white.

I give my students this handout on colored paper to keep in their binders as reference. They refer to it frequently throughout the year. This is a great refresher for students midyear as well.

Page 4 - Numbers - How to form numbers into the hundred thousands, basic math vocab, common fractions

Page 7 - Seasons, includes detailed explanation for WHY the seasons are reversed in Northern & Southern Hemispheres
Page 8 - Time (does not touch on menos method)
Page 9 - School subjects, telling what time something happens (e.g. La clase de español es a las diez y media.)
