The symbols are automatically added to each page AFTER completing all the animations for that page. This sequence ensures that the upfront presence of symbol support does not ‘steal attention’ from the focus on literacy.
Intuitively this makes sense as it allows you to focus on the literacy and comprehension components first … then allows you to conduct Aided Language Stimulation when you conduct that step in the project. This layered approach is also less likely to result in ‘visual overload’!
