Be Proud - Graduation Poem

Graduation poem for tweens and teens narrated from the educator's perspective.
On a personal note, I read this to my Grade Eight graduates based on a year of interesting behavioural observations.
Here is what I said before reading the poem:
Through my experiences as the student success teacher - after spending a year with all of you - I've witnessed maturity, confidence, kindness and academic success. But I've seen the struggles too - struggles which I hope you are beginning to see through a positive lens.
These struggles - these challenging experiences that tend to go hand and hand with the emergence of teenage-hood have been turned into a poem.
