What educators are saying

This is a wonderful STEM resource! It covered science and engineering standards. I look forward to using it again next year!

Description

Bats are integral to our ecosystems; without them, our ecosystems would collapse! In this PBL unit, students will research and learn more about the significance of bats, their habitats, and how studying them can help us. Bats have unique sensory abilities, and we can study them to learn more about diseases that affect us, like blindness and deafness.

Teachers, you will love introducing students to this unique species. Your students will love learning what they can do to help conserve our bat population, including making a model of a bat house. (I’ve included links to make a real bat house.)

This Project Based Learning unit involves 21st Century Learning, science, research, writing, technology, and STEM. I’ve included Google Slides™, which you can use with the unit. You can implement the slides activity as your students do their research.
