This product is intended to be used as a supplemental activity to learning about Canadian history, the Battle of Batoche and the Metis culture. I recognize that I am a descendant of settlers and this resource should not replace the voices of Metis and Indigenous people. It is highly encouraged that you seek out to Indigenous and Metis people to share their culture and history first hand.

These stations allow students to explore the history of Metis people but it is not a fully-inclusive resource, for the reasons mentioned above. It is designed to be low-prep.
