This is what is included in Subtraction Set 2:
This set of 50 very basic subtraction worksheets is ideal for kindergarten students or for struggling first-graders. The subtraction worksheets address subtraction questions with minuends to 10.
The numbers incorporate counting-points to aid in the subtraction process. Additionally, many pages include pictures for the students to use to calculate the difference. Number-lines are also provided on many pages. *please note: the counting points are NOT the same as touch points. These have stars instead of double circles, and the points are in different locations.
In order to use the counting points, students must be familiar with counting backward. Counting backward practice is included on the pages at the beginning of the package. If your students do not use counting points, these worksheets will still be accessible to them via the pictures and number-lines.
These sheets have been successful in helping struggling students who get overwhelmed with worksheet pages that have too many questions on them. Each page has between 5 and 12 questions.
I have also included directions for use, as well as counting point number cards to use to teach students how to use counting points, as well as to create interactive subtraction questions.
If you have any questions, please ask me in the "ask a question" tab.
