Description

Card sort activity that helps students identify the basic characteristics in organisms: unicellular, multicellular, prokaryotic, eukaryotic, sexual, asexual, autotrophic and heterotrophic

This gorgeous card sort contains the following:

- 12 high-quality image cards

- 8 pages of text cards that each have 14 vocabulary words: unicellular, multicellular, prokaryotic, eukaryotic, sexual, asexual, autotrophic and heterotrophic (download the preview to view quality)

I use these in my class to reinforce learning and I also use them during remediation and STARR prep.

They are aligned to TEKS 6.12D, but can be used by any classroom that teaches the following concept.

6.12 D - identify the basic characteristics of organisms, including prokaryotic or eukaryotic, unicellular or multicellular, autotrophic or heterotrophic, and mode of reproduction, that further classify them in the currently recognized Kingdoms
