Description
I teach an elective at my high school entitled Baseball & Society. We cover baseball history until the "Modern Era". This covers the time span from roughly the 1700s until 1903. In addition to the history of baseball we cover a myriad of other topics which include: baseball's greatest games, the "player of the week" biography, skim & scan the news, as well as many others.
If you need a stand along course on baseball I can help you. If you want to supplement your history course all of my lessons are designed to supplement a US history course.
Baseball is a wonderful learning tool because you use so many important skills when you teach it. Hit a home run and try it out.
