Banana Dissection Lab for Directional Terms and Body Planes Practice

This is a step by step lab for practicing directional terms and body planes in Anatomy designed to have students utilize higher order thinking. I typically use it as a lab practicum or review before the unit exam.

The dissection instructions are on powerpoint so that you can do it in the classroom and have the instructions up front one at a time. The teacher can go around and check off if the student is correct or not for each slide. The final product will be an edible banana split!
