What educators are saying

Nice growth mindset resource. I little too difficult for some of my students, but was able to adapt.

Description

You want to start the school year off right.

Do it with a lesson that introduces your students to how they can grow their brain---yes, make their brain bigger, better and stronger by
---working hard in class
---doing their homework
---eating right
--having fun
---getting enough sleep.
This powerpoint provides you with your first lesson of the year. Students will learn about the plasticity of the brain--and the benefits of the growth mindset, the belief (based in Science) that we grow smarter when we work hard at learning
The lesson culminates in goal-setting for the semester.

What an awesome way to kick off the school year. P.S. It pairs really well with the Parent-Teacher-Student Contract which is also available at Mrs Difficult's Store.
