This powerpoint provides you with your first lesson of the year. Students will learn about the plasticity of the brain--and the benefits of the growth mindset, the belief (based in Science) that we grow smarter when we work hard at learning
The lesson culminates in goal-setting for the semester.
What an awesome way to kick off the school year. P.S. It pairs really well with the Parent-Teacher-Student Contract which is also available at Mrs Difficult's Store.
