How to use this resource:

This mini-unit can be done quite quickly from the very first day. You will find some writing prompts for your students in case they need any. Prompts are whether nouns or verbs to put in the past tense and use in a sentence. You will also find some nice illustration to organize a classroom display with all your students excuses.

For explanations, read my blog or read the teacher's notes on the first page of the resource. For your convenience, you will now find two grammar handouts. The interactive PDF version doesn't included the teachers' notes to be easily shared with your students.
