Get to know your students and provide an engaging lesson on day one of of your Social Studies class!
This resource includes five stations:
- A survey to help you learn about your students
- An activity about geography (students will make a dodecahedron)
- An activity about historical thinking vocabulary with extensions
- A goal-setting activity
- The class syllabus
The Google Drive folder with this purchase gives you access to all resources needed to complete this station activity, and all files are completely customizable with Google Slides! The geography and vocabulary activities are geared toward history as I previously taught World History, but you can edit these and tailor them for any Social Studies course.
**Design note: I have purposefully left a lot of blank space on some of these resources so teachers can customize with avatars, school logos, etc. :) **
