In Each Kindness by Jaqueline Woodson, Chloe and her friend won't play with the new girl, Maya. They reject her friendship and she eventually leaves the school. After Chloe's teacher gives a lesson about how small acts of kindness can change the world, Chloe suddenly has regrets and wishes she could have shown Maya the kindness she deserves! This book sends a powerful message on the importance of kindness!
