Want to maximize your time at Back to School time and beyond? This five-part "Making Growth Mindset Fun!" Series includes 5 hands-on, engaging lessons & activities that allow you to teach about Growth Mindset, practice group work and discussion skills, and pre-assess reading and writing skills at the same time...all while making a BIG impact on your classroom culture!

Each lesson of the series can be used independently or as part of the series with students in grades 3-8. Each lesson is designed to take approximately two hours. Lessons include a reading passage with questions, a writing reflection prompt, discussion questions for small and large group discussions, and an engaging group challenge.

Additional resources are also provided for independent research on the topics and to differentiate instruction. The final lesson on Goal Setting includes materials for a Growth Goals Bulletin Board Display. These activities allow kids to explore Growth Mindset and STEM in a way that is hands-on and engaging to them while making a BIG impact on your classroom culture.

Each STEM Challenge is designed to use supplies you already have in your classroom such as tape, paper, pencils, rulers, straws, string, craft sticks, textbooks, scissors, plastic spoons, clothespins, and rubber bands.
