What educators are saying

This is helpful in establishing a new class of students as well as supporting Social Emotional Learning.
My CT used these during my student teaching internship and I knew I needed them for my own class! Can't wait to use them in the fall!

    Description

This back to school bundle has everything you need for a smooth, organized start to the year.

    Included:

    ✅ ALL ABOUT ME COLLAGE

This "all about me" writing and art activity is the perfect, creative, and engaging back to school project. This "about me" activity is simple enough for students to complete independently and entertaining enough to hold their attention. Students are free to complete this with as few or as many words as they like, allowing for maximum differentiation.

✅ 5 BACK TO SCHOOL ICEBREAKER GAMES

    This or That?

Get your kids up and moving as they form bonds over shared interests with this fun icebreaker game. (This is also a great way to practice appropriate ways to move around the classroom after teaching the rules and procedures.)

    Classmate BINGO

Get your students up and talking to each other as they search for friends who can help them complete Classmate BINGO. This will have them learning about each others' talents, families, and interests.

    Who's in Our Class?

This game can be played in small groups or in a whole group setting. Students roll a die to see which question they will answer about themselves. This takes the stress out of deciding which "one thing about themselves" to tell the class.

    Would You Rather?

Have your students answer these icebreaker questions with their table group or a partner. Even better – let them share what they learned about each other with the whole group afterward.

    Table Talk

Project a slide and help your students build relationships by having them discuss their answers with their table groups or a partner. 36 slides are included, so you can choose to have a few conversations a day or use one per week (ie. for Tuesday Table Talk) to help your students practice their oral language skills throughout the year.

✅ EDITABLE TEACHER CONTACT INFO MAGNETS

Make (and keep) a great impression on your students' parents this year with these editable teacher contact magnets. Parents absolutely love them! These are great to hand out on the first day or at Open House. Giving out contact magnets ensures that parents always have your contact information, highlights your organization, and expresses your commitment to working together. This easy-to-edit product has four templates to choose from. Just choose the style(s) that you like most, edit, and print on magnetic paper.

✅ BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT FORMS:

This resource will help you host a smooth and organized back to school night.

Stick with paper-only versions or go the extra mile by providing parents and guardians with digital options via QR codes and Google Forms™. (Don’t worry, I make it super easy. )

6 Stations with Forms (Print & Digital):

    1. Transportation - Complete these editable forms at the beginning of the year and use them all year to keep you organized.
    2. Student Information
    3. Volunteers Wanted
    4. Teacher Contact Info
    5. Supplies
    6. Take a Photo - No forms necessary Station sign is included.

    Forms Just for Your Organization:

    • Editable transportation lists separated by mode of transportation to make lining up for dismissal a breeze.
    • Editable supply checklist to help you keep track of who needs what.
    • Missing supplies letter home to help you round up missing back to school supplies.

Video tutorials are included to help with Google™ Options and QR Codes for your back-to-school night forms.

Don't have a meet the teacher night before the year starts? No problem! These forms can also be used without the station signs to help you get and stay organized during back to school season.

    ✅ PARENT CONFERENCE FORMS

Parent-teacher conferences are essential in creating and maintaining strong parent-teacher relationships. These parent conference notes help you prepare and stay organized all year long.

    Parent–teacher Conference Notes

There are four options for this form. All of them can be paired with the “Parent Questions and Concerns” copied onto the back. I think it’s important to include this to make sure all the parent brings to the meeting is valued and addressed. It helps keep the meeting from feeling one-sided with you handing them information.

Use any of these options to take notes during parent-teacher conferences. Partially fill them in ahead of time & make a copy. You will want to be sure to leave space for the parents and yourself to take notes during the meeting. That way both you and a parent have a record of the information that was shared, and the ideas created during the meeting.

    Conference Request Sheet

This is especially helpful in scheduling parent conferences with those who are difficult to reach during the day. Fill it out with the dates and times you are available and send it home with your student. Don’t forget to sign the letter!

    Parent Contact Checklist

Use this checklist throughout the year to ensure that all parents are contacted regularly.

You can find an editable version of this in the zipped folder so you can type in your students’ names.
