Back To School Science or Math Activity - Polar Bear Inquiry

Are you looking for something engaging to do on the first day of school (or any day!) in your science or math classroom?

This inquiry activity is a great way to have kids work together in a low-pressure situation and get used to asking questions and using the scientific method intuitively!

Kids love this activity, and you immediately get a sense of how they work in groups, what level of perseverance they have, who takes charge, who prefers to talk to their classmates rather than you, etc. Lots of info that can help you get a quick sense of the class dynamics!

It's an engaging and effective activity that can be done over a couple of class periods!
