What educators are saying

My students loved the repetitive text, which allowed them to read more fluently. They liked how the number of animals increased per page. This excellent resource highlights the names of the mother animals and their babies.
my kids had a lot of fun with this. I can't wait to use it again! I am so thankful to have a place to find resources when I can't think of new things to do.

Description

This emergent reader little book will help young students practice early reading skills, while learning about the farm animals!!

Throughout the book, students learn about farm animals and their babies. The pattern of the text in the book is "Look at the mother (animal). She has (number word) little (baby animals).

Many farm vocabulary words will be included, such as cow, calf, horse, foal, goat, kid, sheep, lambs, duck, ducklings, cat, kittens, pig, piglets, dog, puppies, goose, gosling, hen, and chicks. In addition, the number words from one to ten are covered.
