“WH” questions are something that many students struggle with. I try and find any way I can to incorporate them into their daily routine. I use these levels comprehension sheets in a variety of ways. The best part is they are ink savers and NO PREP! Just print and go!!!!

Students have a chance to work on decoding, fluency and comprehension using these worksheets. All pages have the same layout so students will become familiar with what is expected and can build their independence skills.

LEVELED PAGES:

Level 1- Level 1- This level offers 2 simple sentences for students to read. There are 2 questions on every page. The questions in this level focus on “Who” and “What”

Level 2- This level offers a longer passage for students to read. There are 5 questions on every page. The questions focus on “Who, what, when, where and why”.

WAYS TO USE:

-small group

-independent practice

-homework

-para professional station

-keep in a binder for

students to use in the

general education

classroom

There are 15 passages per level (30 total).
