BOOM CARDS Colourful Semantics Pack - Distance Learning BUNDLE

THIS IS A GROWING BUNDLE. This bundle currently includes three colourful semantics resources:

1. Boom Cards Colourful Semantics: Who + What doing + Where: Includes 25 teachable cards

2. Boom Cards Colourful Semantics: Who + What doing + What: Includes Level 2: Who + what doing (e.g. the girl is reading): 25 cards and Level 3: Who + what doing + what (e.g. he watched TV): 25 cards (50 teachable cards total)

3. Boom Cards Colourful Semantics: Who + What doing + What WITH REAL LIFE PICTURES: 48 teachable cards.

Colourful semantics is a treatment approach developed by Alison Bryan. It is designed to help children and adults develop their vocabulary and sentence structure.

Concepts that can be targeted include:

- story telling

- nouns (e.g. the boy) and plural nouns (e.g. the turtles)

- compound subjects (e.g. the boy and girl)

- Auxiliary (helping) verbs (e.g. is)

- Several verb types depending on your goal (e.g. present, present progressive, regular past tense, irregular past tense)

- Vocabulary associated with objects and places

- Prepositions

- Increasing sentence length

- Understanding and answering WH-question

BOOM CARD INFORMATION:

To use Boom Cards, you must be connected to the Internet. Boom Cards play on modern browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge). Apps are available for Android, iPads, iPhones, and Kindle Fires. For security and privacy, adults must have a Boom Learning account to use and assign Boom Cards. You will be able to assign the Boom Cards you are buying with "Fast Pins," (play provides instant feedback for self-grading Boom Cards). Fast Play is always a free way for students to engage with Boom Cards decks. For additional assignment options you'll need a premium account.
