Celebrate Black History Month in your SCIENCE classroom by having your students research the work and accomplishments of 8 influential black scientists. Have your students choose a scientist to research and provide them with the printable (or digital) banner that features their scientist of choice. Allow your students to decorate the banner and hang for a fun bulletin board that celebrates Black History Month. This NO-PREP activity is perfect for teachers that need a ready-to-go resource.
Need a digital option? No problem! I have also included a digital, Google Slides, version of this resource that can be assigned to your students via Google Classroom and other digital platforms. I have also included clickable biography/video links in the digital version to help guide those that might be assigning this assignment to virtual learners.
